MAKER'S MARK OF BA IN AN OVAL PUNCH STRUCK THREE TIMES TO RIM, PROBABLY DUTCH FIRST HALF 17TH CENTURY
Carved with tulips surrounding three vignettes depicting a gentleman bidding farewell to his father, a married couple seated at the dining table and a woman feeding pigs over a garden wall, the flared silver rim with narrow ropework band and acanthus leaf edge attached to three ribbed straps descending to the tapering conical spreading foot, the underside of the base engraved with contemporary initials R over L*M and 10:6
