SONG/JIN DYNASTY, 11TH-12TH CENTURY
The slightly domed cover fluidly painted in brown over a white slip with a peony sprig, all under a clear glaze, the shallow box similarly covered in a white slip and clear glaze with an unglazed foot rim surrounding the unglazed countersunk base
4¼ in. (10.8 cm.) diam.
