MAKER'S MARK ONLY OF "N" SCRIPT (OR "IN" SCRIPT CONJOINED?), LATE 17TH CENTURY
Cylindrical, the sides pierced and engraved with beads, scrolls and triangles, the cover engraved with a daffodil, the base of the cover and removable silver grater engraved with contemporary initials MT, the latter struck with a different maker's mark RB; also another cylindrical silver tobacco rasp, maker's mark only of CU, circa 1700, the sides engraved with stiff leaves, the cover engraved with a stylised rose, the underside of base engraved with contemporary initials EA
respectively, 2¼ in. (5.7 cm.) high and 2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high (2)
