The apostle finial with his attribute of a carpenter's square, his nimbus decorated with an esprit, the back of the bowl later prick-dot engraved with the date 1666 above the initials IK over FC flanked by curlicues; together with a Commonwealth child's Puritan spoon, mark of Stephen Venables, London, 1654, the back of stem engraved with initials MW
respectively, 7¾ in. (19.8 cm.) and 5¼ in. (13.3 cm.) long
