Amid is the ancient name of the city of Diarbekir. Abu al-Fath al-Tabrizi has signed an undated album page now in the Topkapi (M. Bayani, Ahval va asar-e khosh-nevisan, vol. IV, Teheran, 1358 sh., p.8).
