Marked Ovchinnikov with the Imperial warrant, with indistinct town and date mark, Moscow, probably 1896-1908, with French import mark
The hemispherical bowl on a domed foot, with a shaped flat handle, decorated with panels enclosing varicolor enameled stylized foliate and geometric motifs on a stippled ground, beneath a border enameled with varicolor flowerheads and scrolling foliage and set at intervals with amethyst, garnet and chalcedony cabochons, marked under foot and handle
