The compressed body, shallow flared foot and domed cover finely carved in openwork with scrolling foliate meander, with a pair of peony stem handles, the flattened knop carved en suite with a leafy stem bearing a single large blossom, the stone of greyish-olive tone with fine opaque buff mottling
