TANG DYNASTY (618-907)
The broad cup with everted rim, finely chased on the exterior with pairs of ducks and other birds in flight above flowering plants and below clouds and butterflies, the pairs separated by taller plants, with further plants on the stem foot, all reserved on a fine ring-punched ground
2¼ in. (5.8 cm.) diam.
