Lot Essay
Heinz Müller was born in the German town of Münster in 1872. He studied at Düsseldorf Academy and was a pupil of K. Janssen. He is known for his genre scenes such as this Group of a peasant on horseback. Works by Müler are exhibited in the museums of Munich and Stuttgart (J. Mackay, The Dictionary of Western Sculpture in Bronze, Suffolk, 1977 p. 273).
