Cylindrical, the body painted with a design of symmetrically positioned roses and corn-flower sprays, the upper edge with a thick puce border and gilt rims, the handles simulating twisted branches, the circular cover with rose bud finial, with gilt detail, marked under base with dark blue overglaze 'A' beneath a crown
