Semi-spherical, on a low circular base, the body painted with a multi-coloured scene depicting a light cavalry soldier sharpening a lance against a boulder against a painted outdoor landscape, with a gilt and dark purple upper border, marked under base with dark blue underglaze 'E II' and dot and the incised marks '2; 15'
1 7/8 in. (4.6 cm.) high, 3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) diameter
