LATE 19TH CENTURY, SPURIOUS BLUE INTERLACED L'S MARKS
Each seau finely painted in the manner of Watteau with courting couples in landscapes within a gilt foliate surround on a caillouté enriched ground, the reverse with a bouquet, the lip mounted with a pierced everted rim flanked by female mask handles, raised on a foliate socle above a circular plinth painted with a putto, the base cast with putti and maiden masks beneath young tritons suspending floral garlands
