A CANTON ENAMEL FIVE-PIECE ALTAR GARNITURE
LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Each piece enamelled with horizontal rows of stylised shou characters in royal blue on a turquoise-blue ground, and reserved with repoussé gilt-copper bands of petals, ruyi heads, and archaistic cicada lappets, comprising a tripod censer with tall flaring handles, a pair of candlesticks, and a pair of gu-shaped beaker vases
