LATE QING DYNASTY
Composed of one hundred and eight light blue tourmaline beads, separated by four slightly larger coral beads, jiezhu, 'connecting beads', the central jiezhu connected to a gourd shaped fotou, 'Buddha head', suspending the beiyun, 'back cloud' which is embellished with kingfisher feathers, weighed down by drop-shaped pink and green tourmaline pendants
