CIRCA 1780
Of tapering urn form with gilt angular handles with ram's masks, the central frieze of white biscuit scantily-draped classical figures on a blue-ground between radiating gilt gadroons and stiff leaves, on a circular spreading foliage-moulded stem and square blue base with gilt gadroons, the shoulder with radiating gilt foliage and drapery swags, the waisted domed cover with gilt berried finial (restoration to one handle, some minute chipping to edge of cover, top of stem and to one corner and edge of base, minute chip to inside rim of vase)
