CASE: drum-shaped porcelain case modelled as a flowering tree, above a seated male and female figure playing the hurdy gurdy and a cat, above a naturalistically-cast foliate base; minor losses and replacements to the porcelain, the ormolu stamped twice with a crowned 'R', the clock case in iron red famille verte Chinese porcelain DIAL: white enamel, with ormolu hands MOVEMENT: with twin barrels, verge escapement with silk suspension, unpierced calibrated countwheel strike on bell, signed 'Gudin A Paris'
