Of curved, tapering form carved with archaistic scroll along the upper edge, above plain curvilinear aprons, the legs boldly carved in openwork with further archaistic scroll and terminating in upswept feet

Provenance
Acquired by the grandfather of the present owners, Whampoa, Guangdong, circa 1890-1920s, thence by descent within the family.
