Gouache heightened with gold on paper, Krishna, his head surrounded by a nimbus sits cross-legged on a lavish gold throne set in a clearing surrounded on one side by trees and on the other by a silver lake with lotuses, around him sit a group of attentive holy men wearing shades of yellow, white and beige, one of them also with a nimbus surrounding his head, the sky behind in shades of purple and blue and the sun just visible behind the trees, a single line of devanagari behind
