A GROUP OF FIVE ANCIENT NEAR EASTERN POTTERY VESSELS
CIRCA 1ST MILLENNIUM B.C.
Two spherical jars with beak spouts, the shoulders decorated with a finely incised band of pendant hatched triangles; another cream slip pottery jar with groups of hatched pendant triangles between two encircling bands; another red burnished spherical jug with incised dots and a collar around the base of the neck, and a comb pattern below the handle; and a grey ware squat spherical jug with moulded vertical and diagonal ribs on the body.
