A LARGE ANCIENT NEAR EASTERN GREY BURNISHED POTTERY SPOUTED JAR
CIRCA 1ST MILLENNIUM B.C.
With bull-headed spout joined to the rim with a horizontal strap handle, a smaller goat's head below, a small loop handle opposite, the carinated body with incised linear decoration, 21.5 cm. high; a multi-spouted spherical vessel, with zoomorphic handle, the body with four bull's heads, their curly horns conjoined to the outermost spouts, 16.5 cm. high; and a grey ware globular tripod jar with moulded vertical ribs on the body and pierced lugs, 11 cm. high (3)
