CIRCA 1725, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, DREHER'S TO FOOTRIMS, THE BAYREUTH DECORATION CIRCA 1740
Painted in the workshop of J.F. Metzsch, the teabowl lower part and saucer reverse moulded with alternating blue and gilt flutes, the teabowl frieze and interior with flowers, the saucer with a vase of flowers, a recorder, musical scores and a parrot on a plinth, each with gilt scroll and pendant husk borders (areas of very slight wear, saucer with minute chip to underside of rim)
