CIRCA 1735, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, DREHER'S QUARTERED CIRCLE, THE DECORATION PROBABLY BAYREUTH, CIRCA 1740
Possibly painted in the workshop of J.F. Metzsch, each side with hunting trophies including hunting horns, muskets, arrows and game suspended from masks within cartouches of trelliswork, foliage, gilt wings and snails, the interior with an insect below a border of iron-red foliage scrolls enclosing purple and oval blue panels, gilt line rim (minute wear to rim)
