A VIENNA (DU PAQUIER) IMARI CHARGER
CIRCA 1730
The centre painted with a two-handled vase of with flowers, on a fenced terrace within a circular cartouche surrounded by three ogival panels of flowering camellia, peony and hydrangea, on a washed blue ground reserved with peony heads flanked by gilt scrolls, the underside with trailing branches of camellia and prunus (some very slight wear)
14½ in. (36.8 cm.) diam.
