Lot Essay

Fisher Body was the major supplier of auto bodies to General Motors, and their coach emblem and famous slogan "Body by Fisher" was applied to countless GM car doors. In 1973, Fisher Body commissioned 1,000 models of this coach to celebrate the golden anniversary of the firm's trademark registration. The models were retailed through General Motors dealerships at a cost of $2,000.
