A FINE YELLOW-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE 'MEDALLION' BOWL
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
With gently rounded sides rising to an everted rim, painted to the exterior with three roundels each depicting a goat in a landscape setting below a flowering tree, divided by three groups of auspicious fruits and flowers, all reserved on a lemon-yellow graviata ground, the interior in underglaze blue with a central medallion of three goats in a landscape enclosed within double lines, the well with four floral sprays hung with auspicious objects
