With rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, delicately enamelled around the exterior with four circular panels containing chrysanthemum sprays, all on a graviata pale-blue ground embellished with lotus sprays, the interior decorated in underglaze blue with a central medallion of peony and chrysanthemum within a double-line border, with four chrysanthemum sprays in the well
