CIRCA 1838-1845 AND LATER, PRINTED BLUE CROWNED LP WITHIN DOUBLE CIRCLE MARKS, PRINTED IRON-RED CHATEAU DU FONTAINEBLEAU MARKS, VARIOUS INCISED, PAINTER'S AND GILDER'S MARKS
Printed and painted with game animals and birds among meandering foliage and trailing branches reserved with gilt-edged iron-red medallions of trophies between gilt line and key-pattern borders, comprising:
Two oviform teapots and covers (one cover matched, one cover restored) An oviform hot-water jug and cover
Two slender oviform milk-jugs
Two oviform two-handled sugar-bowls and covers (one cover restored)
Nine large teacups and saucers

The Royal Hunting Service, or La Service de Chasse de Fontainebleau was purchased by Louis-Philippe I King of the French between 1839-1841, having been ordered on 26 June 1835. The original service consisted of over 2,000 pieces, and the decoration was based on drawings by Jean-Charles François Leloy.
