MARK OF E. ADELAER, AMSTERDAM, CIRCA 1820, RETAILED BY DIEMONT, WITH LATER ENGLISH IMPORT MARKS FOR SHEFFIELD, 1901
Cylindrical with reeded borders, the hinged cover applied with a plaque engraved with the Spencer crest below an earl's coronet
4¾ in. (12 cm.) diameter
11 oz. (328 gr.)
The crest is that of John Poyntz, 5th Earl Spencer (1835-1910).
