A bronze figure of Padmasambhava
Tibet, 15th/16th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base with a beaded rim and incised triangular pattern, holding a vajra and skullcup in his hands, wearing thick inner and outer robes incised with floral and stippled motifs, his animated face with almond-shaped eyes and raised urna surmounted by his distinctive hat with hair falling on his shoulders, the verso with an inscription
