The ferocious beast shown standing foursquare with head turned sharply to one side and with mouth agape in a roar, arrayed in rich trappings inset with sky-blue and coral-colored glass beads, the back draped with a fringed blanket upon which sits the pierced cover cast with lotus scroll below the conical knop emerging from ruyi-head clouds; together with a glass ball
