CIRCA 1740, POSSIBLY IRISH
The padded, shaped rectangular back above outscrolled arms with eagle's head terminals and a padded seat covered in floral gros-point needlework, on foliate cabriole legs with paw feet, with handwritten label 'MRS ADEANE', the back legs replaced, back rail reinforced, later back corner braces
40½ in. (103 cm.) high; 31½ in. (80 cm.) wide; 29½ in. (55 cm.) deep
