COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA', cylinder with stage coach scene, frame stamped 'COLTS PATENT' and retaining traces of original case-hardened finish, brass grip-strap engraved 'JAMES E DIGGLE HIGHER HALL WESTLEIGH', brass trigger-guard retaining traces of silvered finish, varnished one-piece walnut grips, and matching numbers throughout, contemporary London proof marks, in earlier fitted oak case lined with green baize with some accessories including Hawksley bag-shaped flask and oil bottle, the lid with directions for loading and cleaning, the exterior with shaped brass escutcheon
