The first with octagonal sighted barrel retaining traces of original blued finish and with one line 'ADDRESS COL SAML. COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA', cylinder with stage coach scene, frame stamped 'COLTS PATENT', brass grip-strap and trigger-guard each retaining traces of original silvered finish, varnished one-piece walnut grips, and matching numbers throughout; the second similar, with two line 'ADDRESS COL. COLT LONDON', iron grip-strap and trigger-guard, and matching numbers throughout, each with contemporary London proof marks
