Mark of Ivan Saltykov, Moscow, 1899-1908
Of traditional form, the raised prow applied with shaded yellow, pink and blue enamelled cast petal border with scroll finial, the lower section of the body with lobed twisted ropework cartouches enamelled in cream alternating with light blue, the upper part of the body enamelled in opaque periwinkle, all with vari-colour stylised foliage, the stepped hook handle enamelled with cream ground and blue beaded border, marked under base
