By the Kornilov Factory, St Petersburg, circa 1900
Circular, with gilt rims, each decorated with a different bird after designs by I. Gal'nbek (1855-1934), comprising a moorcock, a Siberian partridge, a teal duck, a wild goose, a snipe, a white partridge, a gelinotte, and a water hen, the birds identified in Russian on the front, and, on four plates, in English on the reverse, marked on reverse with printed factory mark and inscription 'Made in Russia by Kornilow Bros.'
