Each circular and painted with scenes from Russian fairy tales, two from the tale of 'Ivan Tsarevich, the Firebird and the Grey Wolf', one from 'The Feather of Bright Fenist the Falcon' and one from 'The Frog Prince', all after I. Bilibin (1878-1942) and signed in Cyrillic I. Bilibin, within gilt frames, the rims painted with a green and brown border of hexagons containing forest animals alternating with trees, marked under bases with overglaze factory mark, inscribed 'Made in Russia by Kornilow Bros.' and numbered 'Bil. 2/140', 'Bil. 7/140', 'Bil. 10/140', 'Bil. 12/140'
