2 volumes, 8o (176 x 102 mm). Engraved frontispiece and 112 engraved plates on 56 leaves (some light browning and spotting). Contemporary red straight-grained morocco, covers with double gilt fillet and roll-tooled border, spines in 5 compartments with 4 wide raised bands, gilt and gilt lettered, edges gilt concealing fore-edge paintings of WOBURN ABBEY and HAREWOOD, each within an oval frame surrounded by leaves and coronets and their respective owners' coats of arms (some light staining, upper hinge of volume one just split).
