Contemporary green straight-grain morocco, covers with gilt and ornamental border, spine in 6 compartments, one gilt-lettered, 5 with gilt ornamental tooling, edges gilt concealing a fore-edge painting of KEW BRIDGE ON THE RIVER THAMES (some light scuffing and staining, spine faded). Provenance: Patrick Hume, Earl of Marchmont (bookplate); J. J. Falconer (bookplate).
