Reconverted from percussion, with tapering two-stage barrel, iron tang, foliate engraved rounded lock, full stock with fluted fore-end and carved in relief with a battle scene involving Classical warriors on the right side of the butt, brass mounts, iron sling mounts, and late ramrod.
