Groningen, 18th Century, maker's mark 'HS'; maker's mark probably that of Jannes Entinck, Groningen, 1714-15
Each oval with lobed sides, the scroll handles capped by animal heads, one bowl inscribed to the side HJ.no, the other side inscribed and dated EH.98, marked on the rim; the other bowl engraved to the front with twin shields within foliate scroll mantling, marked on the base
18.4 cm. and 18.2 cm. wide
