A SPINACH-GREEN JADE ARCHAISTIC FACETED BEAKER-FORM VASE, FANGGU
LATE QING DYNASTY, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Each side of the neck carved in low relief with upright blades above a band of angular scrolls and a stylized taotie, with similar decoration repeated in reverse on the tall hollow foot, the center section with large taotie masks reserved on a leiwen ground, with notched flanges centering each side and at the corners, the semi-translucent stone of rich mottled green color
