With gently curving watered steel single-edged blade, the hilt also of watered steel and of typical form cast and decorated with raised gilt decoration forming a continous band of leaves around the edges, the base of the pommel with a band of small dots and flowerheads, a larger flowerhead emerging from around the central raised knop
