The slightly recurved tapering double-edged watered steel blade with polished edge and medial ridge issuing from elegant palmette and reinforced cusped panel at forte, the pistol-grip white jade hilt inlaid with floral sprays inset with diamonds, emeralds and rubies, the decoration of the pommel centred around an emerald-inlaid cypress tree, red velvet-covered wooden sheath with gold engraved chape and locket and hanging loop
