A LARGE AMBER VASE AND COVER

Of archaistic flattened baluster shape, the narrow sides with lion-masks suspending loose-rings, carved with shallow relief bands of ruyi between key-fret, the shoulder with further ruyi and stylised shou characters, the domed cover surmounted with a Buddhist lion and cub finial, the amber of an even transluscent orange tone
