Cylindrical on three ball-and-claw feet, the lobed body chased and repoussé with festoons of fruit and flowers, the tubular scroll handle applied with flowerheads at the hinge, the lobed hinged cover chased and repoussé with similar decoration, with scroll thumbpiece and surmounted by a bud finial, marked on body and cover, later scratched under base Nürnberg, SBF, XVII
