MARK OF WILLIAM CRIPPS, LONDON, 1744
Each on shaped circular base, with swirling shell motifs rising to a triform stem with recessed swirls and shell ornament, with spool shaped socket, engraved with a crest, each marked underneath and on five sockets, the bases further numbered and engraved with a scratchweight 'No 1 22=13'; 'No 2 20=19'; 'No 3 21=14'; 'No 4 21=9'; 'No 5 22=7'; 'No 6 21=9'; 'No 7 20=16' and 'No 8 21=10½'
