ARCHAIC PERIOD, CIRCA MID 6TH CENTURY B.C.
Hammered from a single heavy sheet, of domed form, with some carination around the sides and back, the neck-guard flaring, the cheek-guards pointed at their ends, the elongated almond-shaped eye holes bevelled at the edges and contoured at their outer corners, the pointed nose-guard protruding, bordered along the perimeter with small perforations
