ATTRIBUTED TO THE ALTENBURG CLASS, CIRCA 500 B.C.
With a youthful Dionysos reclining at the center, leaning on a pillow, a rhyton in his right hand in added white, a wreath in his hair, a himation wrapped around his left shoulder and legs, leaving most of his upper torso bare, a seated maenad before him presenting a box, a bearded ithyphallic satyr to the left, another satyr to the right, vines in the field; lotus bud chain on the shoulders; details in added red and white (mostly lost)
