Lot Essay

'A composition invented to express the bustling life of the street, based on the theme of rectangles. Here are two large rectangles, one consisting of the houses of the foreground and the further plane consisting of the street. The left rectangle is broken up into smaller rectangles of red buses and bluish cars. The triangle of the crowd is introduced on the pavement between the large rectangles. In the crowd itself, all the colours represented in the painting are repeated in small patches' (M. Simonow, Ruskowski, London, 1987, p.p. 137-138).
