A Dutch silver miniature teapot and cover, two coffee-pots and covers and a samovar and cover
The teapot and cover with mark of Johannes van Somerwil I, Amsterdam, 1762, also struck with later Dutch duty mark; the first coffee-pot with mark of Daniel van Strant, Amsterdam, 1747; the second coffee-pot with mark of Frederik van Strant II, Amsterdam, 1718-1734, the samovar with mark of Johannes van Somerwil I, Amsterdam, 1761, also struck with later Dutch duty mark
The teapot of compressed globular shape, with curved spout and scroll handle, the detachable cover with knob finial, marked on base; a pear-shaped coffee-pot on reeded circular foot, with scroll handle, the detachable domed cover with baluster knob, marked on base; a coffee-pot of conical shape,with long spout and scroll handle, chased with stylised floral scrolls marked on base; and a samovar on three high feet, three taps and two handles, the tapering body chased with portrait medallions and foliage, marked on base
